Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how UptimeFixer handles information when you visit the website or use its online tools, website diagnostics, forms, guides and related features.

How UptimeFixer tools process information

Many UptimeFixer utilities are designed to process text, images, files or calculations directly in your browser where practical. In those cases, the input can be handled on your device instead of being uploaded to our server.

Some features cannot work entirely in the browser. Public website, domain, DNS, HTTP, certificate, performance and similar diagnostics may send the public target you enter to the UptimeFixer server so the requested check can be performed. Some clearly identified features may also use a configured third-party service or API when that service is required to produce the result.

Do not submit confidential information, credentials, private keys, passwords, personal health information, financial account data or other sensitive material unless you understand how the specific tool processes it and you are authorised to use that information.

Information we may receive

When you visit the website, standard technical information may be processed by the web server, hosting provider, security systems or analytics services. This can include information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, referral information, approximate time of access and technical error or security logs.

If you contact us through a form, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate relevant site or tool issues.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

UptimeFixer may use essential cookies or similar storage required for website functionality, security or user preferences. Analytics or measurement tools may also be used to understand aggregate site usage and improve the service.

UptimeFixer uses or may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device information or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalise ads where permitted. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services in Google’s partner sites policy and manage advertising preferences through My Ad Center.

Where required, a consent message may ask you to accept or reject non-essential storage and advertising purposes. You can also control or restrict cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some storage may affect preferences, analytics or advertising but should not prevent basic access to the public tools.

Public website checks

When you use a tool that checks a public website, domain or server, the target address and the technical response needed for the requested diagnostic may be processed. These checks are intended for lawful use on public resources or systems you are authorised to test.

A diagnostic result is generally a point-in-time observation. It should not be treated as continuous monitoring or as a guarantee about the security, availability or configuration of a third-party service.

Third-party services

Some site functions may depend on hosting providers, content-delivery networks, analytics platforms, advertising services, spam protection or configured APIs. When a third-party service is used, information necessary for that feature may be processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy practices.

External links on UptimeFixer lead to websites we do not control. Review the privacy policy of the destination before submitting information there.

How long information is kept

We keep operational records only for as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, abuse prevention and service administration. Contact messages may be retained while a request is being handled and for a reasonable period afterwards. Retention by third-party providers is governed by their own policies.

Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures intended to protect the website and information handled by it. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep original copies of important files and avoid submitting sensitive information when it is not necessary for the task.

Your choices

You may choose not to use a tool that requires server-side or third-party processing. You can also control browser cookies and local storage through your browser. If you have contacted us and want to ask about the information associated with that communication, use the Contact page.

Children

UptimeFixer is a general-purpose utility website and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information was submitted by a child inappropriately, contact us so we can review the situation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, tools or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last revised.
